Where do the rewards come from?#
From the fees the pool collects, and from anyone who adds to an epoch's budget. Nothing is printed. The pool can never promise more than it holds. See Where rewards come from and Solvency.
Is there a fixed yield?#
No. Each epoch splits what it collected among the locks that covered it. More locks means a smaller share each; more fees means a bigger one. No rate is announced, because none is known in advance.
Can I earn by moving ZEC back and forth?#
No. Each move pays a fee, and at most part of that fee comes back as a reward. The worst case measured in the tests gives back 425,000 of a 500,000 fee. See Why wash trading loses.
Do I need SOL?#
Only for your first step, shielding: your wallet signs it and pays about 0.0014 SOL. After that, every action is sent for you and costs you no SOL. See Fees and costs.
Can the team take my ZEC?#
No. The admin can change a few parameters, inside caps set in the program, and each change waits before it applies. The admin cannot move funds, freeze a note, or see who owns what. See Admin powers and limits.
What if the site goes away?#
Your notes live on Solana, not on the site. With your sign-in (the same wallet or passkey), any copy of the app can find them again from the public record. See Recover your notes.
Why can I only lock 0.1, 1 or 10?#
Fixed sizes make locks look alike. If anyone could lock any amount, an unusual amount would point to you. See Privacy model.
Why do I wait to unlock?#
A lock covers every epoch up to its end. That is what lets you claim for those epochs without showing which lock is yours. You can unlock from the epoch after the end. See Unlock.
Can I send to a shielded Zcash address?#
Not today. The exit to Zcash supports transparent addresses (starting with t1) only. See Exit to Zcash.
Is the code audited?#
Not by an outside firm yet. Internal reviews and the test results are on Security overview. TBD The outside audit report will be linked there.
