You hold your own funds#
- Your notes belong to a key that only you hold. The team cannot move them, freeze them or send them back.
- If you lose your key, your device and your backup file, your notes stay in the pool and nobody can reach them. This is final. There is no reset and no recovery desk.
- Save your backup file the day you sign in, and keep it somewhere only you can read. See Recover your notes.
No promise of service#
- posl is published as source and runs as it is, with no warranty of any kind.
- The pool can stop, lag or refuse a request at any time. Rewards depend on what the pool really earns, so they can fall to zero.
- Nobody insures your funds. There is no compensation fund and no deposit guarantee.
- The team can pause new deposits, and can change the rates for the next epoch within the limits written in Admin powers and limits. The team can never take a member's note.
Where you must not use the pool#
- Do not use the pool if you are in a country or a region under European Union or United States sanctions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Belarus, and the parts of Ukraine that Russia holds.
- Do not use the pool if you are a person or a company on a sanctions list.
- Do not use the pool where a private pool of this kind needs a licence that posl does not hold. You are the one who checks the rules of your own country.
- Do not use the pool to hide the proceeds of a crime. Privacy is for honest members.
What you accept#
When you use the pool you accept these rules, the Risks page and the Privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not deposit.
These rules can change. The date of the build is at the bottom of every page, and every change is listed in the Changelog.
